I’m a complete newbie at singing bowls and was a bit intimidated at first. I could obviously use it as a gong (?) yet making it sing took a few tries. In the video you can hear I’m still not perfect at it however for a first couple of tries it’s a decent sound. Just takes practise and goes much better when I’m in a calmer state of mind. Plus in the video I’m trying to handle the phone to film it, so not too focused on control of the little stick (which I’m sure has a better name lol). The package had a sweet note in it, the pillow is cute however could be better to hold the bowl more sturdy (as you see esp on the end of my little video, it moves a tat. I’m sure that too takes practice). The bowl itself is pretty, I love a hammered look.Size wise it’s perfect for me! And I love the sound, it’s very calming and I found even my cats not being bothered by it, in fact they stay right where they are relaxing (so no annoyed ears).

Absolutely beautiful and sounds so amazing! Even the cats love it. 😻 And it also has good energy all around it.
A lovely set, giving it as a gift.
Beautiful quality, relaxing and fun to meditate and have it sing. A bit pricier than others, but you get quality with what you pay for and listening to other videos I'm glad I went with my choice.
It was easy to play. Very nice tone. Also very beautiful. I bought a second one as a gift. I’m sure she will enjoy it, too.
Once I watched the video it soooo became more enjoyable to use! The videos do help!!!
These singing bowls are made with good care. They play well and sound beautiful. I have three from different places, and this one is the best.
The singing bowl is beautifully made, both visually and acoustically. It is the perfect size for the space where I placed it, and I appreciate the care and craftsmanship evident in every detail.I especially appreciated the personal note included with the order. It reflected the same attention and thoughtfulness that went into the product itself.Thank you for creating something so meaningful and well crafted.
High quality, lovely sound, appreciate small pillow it sits on increasing sound quality
Great singing bowl at an affordable price
Beautiful calming tone, well made and easy to use.
The bowl and all items are beautifully crafted. I am extremely pleased and highly recommend. I purchased this item to use when conducting a meeting. I can sound the singing bowl when colleagues need to yield the floor to one another. I am thrilled!
Very cute but the bowl is very small and is hard to make sound.
Absolute highest top quality bowl! Unbelievably great low price for this high value bowl also! Personally until today, I have never played a bowl before and I know the smaller ones are a tad more difficult to play supposedly… (& tho I have heard and seen them being played lots haven’t tried til today).. Yet it only took me under a min to get this bowl to sing so beautifully. It has a perfectly balanced tone! I absolutely ADORE this one! Too it’s just a Super Great size. I think I got the 3.75 or 4” one. Plays so very easy w the wood part of the mallet and you can use the softer part for a strike. (I like the wood part better personally..)So yeah this whole kit is wonderful and I like it very much. Just top quality on all items included. Also, the bowl size is perfect to just sit on the palm of your hand (or the cushion..) and since it comes w a carrying case (& a cushion as well as the mallet), it’s easy to carry and use. Also, the cushion is way better than the little donut ones sold elsewhere.I just love everything about this bowl kit! I got a few others bowls in diff sizes from various people and if they don’t sound as good they will go back. This smaller & cheaper one is just high quality all the way around so far. I truly don’t see how they can beat this bowl for quality or value!
Es pequeño y su sonido es muy bonito
Excellent quality highly recommended best singing bowl set and the customer service from the seller is amazing!!!
I can’t believe how beautifully this is. The colors are just breathtaking. The sound is so pleasing. The quality is just perfect. Bonus, the container is beautiful design too to keep in the open. Worth every penny!
Silent Mind Tibetan Singing Bowl it’s absolutely beautiful. It is so well-made comes with a really nice would striker. The outside and the inside of the bowls are just beautiful high-quality. The sound is gorgeous.
It's lovely, makes lovely sound. Easy to use. Some people may like this. For my preference I prefer my singing bowls a little bit taller. This is small. Yes it is portable and durable. It is great quality but I returned it for something larger
I fretted for days over which singing bowl to buy from Amazon as the consensus is that most are cheaply made and mass-produced in a 3rd-world country. In YT review videos, Silent Mind came up as a somewhat "higher quality" version of these small metal singing bowls. I'm glad I went with Silent Mind as they are indeed a step above the others, just keep in mind that it's probably still somewhat mass-produced. An included card stated that they were handcrafted in Tibet, but I make no presumptions that they're made in a remote village high up in the Himalayans by generationally-skilled craftsman, and you shouldn't either. If they're actually made in Tibet as the card says, they're probably made in a factory in a large city. Regardless these bowls are still nice and sound great! The bowl is heavy for its size, the ringer is solid wood with a thin leather-like cover on one end. My ringer had an indent in the wood from being pressed against the edge of the bowl during shipping, but it still works fine. The pillow is decorative and functional, although don't expect the fabric's pattern to be centered, mine wasn't. The incriptions on and in the bowl are exotic-looking, I just hope they don't translate to "ding-dong rings the tiny bowl of this western ding dong"–I'll pretend the inscriptions speak of peace & mindfulness through love & harmony & yadda, yadda yadda....As for using the bowl's sound, I was able to make it sing immediately on my first try. Just take your time with slow strokes around the rim after first hitting the edge to make it vibrate (ring). The Silent Mind website has a few instructional videos if you can't figure it out (the website link is on an included card). I can literally make this little bowl sing extremely loud, to the extent that it mimics the weekly testing of my neighborhood's tornado warning siren. It's amazing how much sound can come from this little bowl!I'm very satisfied with this bowl, it works well, is well-made and was still somewhat inexpensive. I should note though, if you're sending this as a gift to someone, it did not come in its own box–it was simply tightly wrapped in bubble wrap and tape. Just keep this in mind if you're gifting one during the holidays.Enjoy your bowl, you western ding dong!
