Very pretty incense holder, and good quality! However, I decided to just gorilla glue the gold ball to the marble so it doesn’t move. Some incense are too heavy for the gold ball to hold, so it just makes it easier to glue the ball. Problem solved.

The Holder for the incense is not weighted and falls over whenever one is inserted. I used 2 of little black stabilizers that are suppose to go on the bottom to stick it to the tray. It's a quick fix till I get double sided tape in a better color. Overall the product is sturdy and very Pretty.
This is beautiful! The pictures do not do it justice. I added some pics for you guys to help you fully appreciate your purchase. I read some reviews and agree that the little ball that holds the incense needs a little help. The little double sided discs in the pictures did the trick. I did have to put the incense in the ball and then stick it to the holder because I got it crooked a couple times. Done. These would make excellent gifts because of how beautiful they are.
This is of good quality and weight. Well-made and a pleasure to look at! The incense holds well in the little ball too!
this is gorgeous - but the little ball that holds the incense isnt heavy enough to hold some thicker incense. it would have been better attached to the base.
I have recently taken back up the joy of burning incense. I was looking for an incense holder that wasn't a cheap wooden one or something you usually see. I found this marble incense holder and it has been a perfect find. I love cararra marble and I will admit I had to purchase and send back a few due to defects in the marble (but that was a personal issue lol). I finally got one that was perfect with no defects and I love it. It is heavy and sturdy. It comes with foam pads to place on the bottom and then a little brass ball where you put the actual incense. For some incense with longer sticks it is a little top heavy so I just balance it behind the stone piece but otherwise it has been my favorite incense purchase!!
Love it. You will need to glue the ball down somehow though. I used 3M VHB tape.
UPDATE:While this product did not work for stick incense, the seller went beyond to make things right. Therefore, my original rating has changed from 2-stars to 5-stars.ORIGINAL 2-star REVIEW:The metal "ball" intended to hold the incense is not large enough and/or heavy enough to counteract the weight and length of an incense stick. Completely unusable for stick incense.

My only concern is the gold ball that holds the stem of the incense wasn’t attached to the base? Unsure if this was intentional, but a small amount of super glue fixed it, and you’d never know otherwise!

So I never received this item. It was lost in shipping, but I did buy it.I's pretty heavy it's made out of marble. The ball to put the incense is made of brass.
I’ve been looking for something simple for my incense. The product arrived on time and intact. The design is simple and elegant. The marble is beautiful, and the machine job on the brass holder has a few slight defects, but nothing detracts from the design. Very happy with it....**Update** Still love the design, there are a few design flaws, but they were not deal breakers for me....the incense hole is about twice as big as it needs to be in addition the brass ball needs to be "held" down with museum paste or some other adhesive or it will fall when the incense is in place.
