I was given the malty biscuit brew as a little fun thing to open for Christmas from a friend who is English. From the moment I opened the box and inhaled the delectableness of the tea, I knew it was a love match. I’m on my second box. I decided to give the Carmel biscuit brew a try, and I was absolutely pleasantly surprised. The flavor is there, the aromas are heavenly. So smooth, so delightful. I add some milk, a little sugar and I am in heaven. Yorkshire tea in general is an excellent brand you can never go wrong. I absolutely love it. I will definitely buy again.
For my black tea lovers!!! It has a dark robust flavor like the standard Yorkshire Gold, but it tastes like a shortbread cookie dissolves into the tea. It is very strong and smooth and one box gets me through a month, but I am the only one in the family that drinks black tea.
This tea has a wonderful taste. The caramel flavoring is not overpowering but smooth with light notes. The smell is a beautiful aroma that precedes the smooth taste. Lovely tea.
I'm a tea newbie, and this was a good place to start. Good with a bit of milk for my taste, and I love the carmelized biscuit flavor.
I’m usually a coffee person. I like tea but prefer coffee. The only tea I prefer was the tea I had when I visited London. I decided to look and found this. Gave it a try! It is GREAT!!! Absolutely love it. I love strong tea. I don’t normally add milk to tea, but this is strong enough to do so. It’s smooth. Gives you a nice pick me up. It looks good, good color. It had a good amount of caffeine to boost my energy level. It taste great.
This tea is just lovely, a little cup of joy in the middle of the afternoon. I was expecting perhaps more strongly flavoured and wasn't sure about that, but it is absolutely perfectly balanced. A hint of cherry, the slightest little taste of delicious almond, maybe a little teeny taste of citrus. I love it!!
(Disclaimer: I am not British and don’t know much about English tea culture.)I absolutely adore the lineup offered by Taylors of Harrogate, and when I saw this (biscuit brew), I was curious and wanted to try it. So glad I did! It’s a touch more astringent than the Yorkshire Gold or Yorkshire Red blends, but it’s got a delicious shortbread cookie taste that isn’t overpowering. Since tea has no rules, I decided to make it with a splash of homemade vanilla extract and a couple lumps of brown sugar, topping it off with some French vanilla creamer. Do yourself a favor and try it yourself!!Edit- out of curiosity I decided to try the caramelized biscuit brew version, since I thoroughly enjoyed the regular biscuit brew. I won’t say that it is bad, because it’s not, but it’s got a strange artificial cinnamon taste that I wasn’t expecting. I don’t care for it and won’t purchase it again, and I will probably give this box to someone else to enjoy.Biscuit Brew is a delicious yes, Caramelized Biscuit Brew is a definite no. No stars deducted because it’s a matter of taste preference and not quality.
