These are not the highest of quality but they are super functional and the value for the money is solid. Good thickness of stainless steel and should be rust resistant. The top unscrews so tea, mulling spices, etc. is loaded inside. The mesh is very fine so you won’t be getting solids in your drink which is what we all want, right?! The size is perfect.The little plates that these sit on are nice to keep things clean but the pods are a little wobbly when rested on these plates due to their rounded bottoms.A chain is included so you can attach it to prevent it from sinking.I love using this to make mulled cider! Very easy and convenient to use and cleanup is a breeze.
I use to drink tea a lot and had a metal clamp type of tea strainer. I would always get tea leaves in my tea but with these ones with such a fine strainer and a screw lid my tea is perfect without tea dust. You get two metal strainers so I can share one with my daughter. I believe this would hold enough loose tea to make a pitcher of tea. It has a chain to make it easy to pull out your strainer and a little metal saucer to place it on afterwards. I love the convenient shape of this one much better than any others I’ve had. It fits perfectly in your cup. It does not move around and loose your pull string or chain into your cup only to have to then fish it out! I’ve also enjoyed putting fruit in this strainer and letting it sit in a little water pitcher to add some flavor to my water or sparkling water. I think this would be an amazing gift for anyone who loves tea. Best yet it is dishwasher safe although it’s also very simple to just rinse out with soapy water. You honestly get a value for only $12.99 so don’t just get the one…get the two pack and share one if you want.
This 2-pack of tea infusers makes having loose leaf tea easy and enjoyable. The mesh is fine enough to keep the tea particulate out of the water without sacrificing strength or taste. They work well in my larger cups, but seem a bit large for a standard sized cup. Cleaning is easy - just dump the spent leaves into the trash, then rinse and sit aside to dry. I also appreciate the included tray to sit the infuser on, preventing tea from getting everywhere once it’s removed from the water.The unbalanced weight and rounded bottoms cause them to tip over easily and they would not fare well in the dishwasher, but all in all, they are a great value for the cost.
I am a coffee snob recently turned tea drinker, so I was looking to elevate my tea drinking to a higher level. For the last year or so I have been drinking loose leaf tea, which I have been brewing with an old French press at home. I ordered this infuser to take with me on the go to work. I feel like this will work well for this purpose. The infuser is large enough to accommodate a large amount of tea, much more than would be required for a single cup. I usually brew between 1-2 cups for my travel mug, so this will be more than adequate. Some reviewers note that the size is a bit large for a single cup, which I would agree with, though when using a 16oz travel mug this works great. The holes are small enough to reduce sediment from getting into the brewed tea. The included saucer is a nice touch, as it gives me a place to set the infuser until it cools while I’m at work. My only complaint other than the size for this would be that the material is a little thin, which might lead to it getting dented when being carried in my backpack. If you are only going to be using the infuser at home, this should not be an issue for you. Overall, I find this infuser works well and is a good value for the price.
Nice thick individual tea steepers with very tiny holes to prevent leaves leaking through. The little plate keeps the table clean from leaks after dunking; that’s a nice touch making it a neat job for oneself or guests. The chains make the steepers easily retrievable from the cup or pot. Purported to be stainless steel and it appears these are but they are not labeled 18/8. (I don’t recall what the listing says about the quality.) If they are they’ll be rust-free and last forever. They’re machine washable. I prefer loose leaf tea due to some sketchy bags on the market that may contain microplastics and this solution solves that dilemma.
Great product! Works very well with gunpowder green tea. Some very small particles do make their way through; mostly due to the slightly larger “hole” under the loop at the top that secures the chain. Not a big deal to me. You see the tiny particles more than you feel them. I also like this higher grade 316L stainless steel. They are super easy to clean and they diffuse quick.I got them because they did not come with a charm meaning I could personalize them for my sister and I.I'll most likely be buying another set for the rest of my sisters.
perfect size for individual cup seeping. Many others are made for pots, but these are small. I easily rinse off and dry them for next usage and have not placed in the dishwasher with harsher detergent. High grade steel, at least they claim.
This is a nice set. Easy to fill, easy to clean. No random tea debris in my cup.
These infusers are perfect for what I need! I wanted to be able to take my loose leaf tea with me to work without having to make it at home because sometimes I am forgetful. I am able to keep these in my lunch box full of loose leaf tea. The best part is they can hold up to 6 tablespoons of loose leaf tea, loosely, depending in which ones you use. I use a mixture and it works perfectly. They're easy to use, easy to clean and fit in my 32 oz thermal.

The mesh on these is super fine, so I don't get any tea dust in my cup even with rooibos. The chain is long enough for tall mugs. Easy to dump and rinse clean.

So i have been wanting to get a metal tea strainer for a while, not only because lose leaf tea is so nice, but i also have read AND heard reports that teabags are poorly regulated in their manufacturing, leaving you open to ingesting plastic and other carcinogens that may become even more dangerous as you are exposing them to hot water.I LOVE this double set of tea strainers because obviously, i love tea, and having the second strainer keep you able to use them one right after the other if you drink a lot of it. And it is just as nice having the ability to serve more than one cup of tea at a time!The shape and design of these strainers is also more thoughtful than most i have seen. I like the cylindrical shape with the flat bottom so that it wont roll around like most ball tea strainers (when you set it down) and i think it is extra nice that they give you a little saucer to set it on when you are done steeping your tea. The holes are really fine, which is great for finer grinds of leaves and herbs. Especially if you are like me and you use certain herbal teas like soursop that can have a very fine grind, so that only the powder might slip through into you tea. I also like to mix teas to create my own blends and without having one of these your best bet is to buy separate (paper like) tea bags of again, questionable materials.I also appreciate the capacity of these strainer as they have plenty of room to a lot of tea if you like your cup really string or if you want to use the strainer in a tea pot instead. They work great and are easy to open and close without much trouble. Enjoy!
