Bowl itself is good, takes some practice.

It's pretty small, but it sings clearly and beautifully. This is the only singing bowl I've owned and I use it for meditation. It took a bit to learn how to use it properly, and I was tempted to return it because I thought it didn't work. If you can't get it to sing I'd recommend watching a couple YouTube videos, and try out different positions of holding the mallet. I'm taking one star off because the little cushion it came with was already coming apart when it got to me, and the mallet feels pretty cheap. For the price it definitely does what I wanted though.

Lovely tone!

This tiny bowl has such a lovely tone! It took me a bit to get it sounding and I tend to be impatient but once I figured it out it was such a nice tone.

Good value

Nice looking bowl. Sounds nice when struck. Not the best, but, it sings better than some other small bowls I have tried. Takes a bit of practice. Good value.

Excellently crafted

I was surprised and pleased by the quality of this bowl. It is equally as nice as the larger one I usually use, and because of its smaller size, will be easier to carry with me. It is actually larger than I expected, given that the description calls it "3 inches." That measurement was taken across the top opening, not from outside curve to outside curve. The tone is lovely and clear, especially when using the padded portion of the rod.
